CII Eastern Region is organizing “Healthcare East 2010” on 28 September 2010 at Hotel Taj Bengal, Kolkata.

Indian Healthcare is seeing a period of rapid growth. Revenues from the Healthcare sector account for 5.2 percent of the GDP, making it the third largest growth segment in India. Increased spending and improved standards of living are triggers for the rapid expansion in this sector.Private investment in Healthcare has grown significantly in the east, and the facilities available in the region today, are at par with the rest of the Country. With major players coming into the region with ambitious plans, there is a need for all stakeholders to come together on a common platform, and address issues together.

In order to keep pace with the high growth rate in the healthcare sector in the region and to consolidate various growth elements, Healthcare East 2010 would address issues that are of relevance in the present day context.
